We are Pine Island neighbors united in our opposition to the building of a hyperscale data center—aka “Project Skyway”—in our small, rural community.

In September 2025, a group of five moms discovered our small, rural town of Pine Island, MN was about to become the home of a hyperscale data center. Worried about the harm of air, water, sound, and light pollution hyperscale data centers create, these concerned moms raised an alarm and organized local opposition to this development with the hope to stop irreparable damage to our community.
